The Wisdom of Walt

I love Walt Disney.....I love his imagination, his courage and his joy of clean, child-like fantasy and adventure, and his appreciation for family.

My wife recently posted a bunch of quotes from Walt on her blog which ignited my appreciation once again. So....though this may be a bit redundant for the Riggan's...here they are again.

Thank you Lord for making Walt!

"The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing."

"Why do we have to grow up? I know more adults who have the children's approach to life. They're people who don't give a hang what the Joneses do. "

"There is more treasure n books than in all the pirates' loot on Treasure Island and at the bottom of the Spanish Main ... and best of all, you can enjoy these riches every day of your life."

"Crowded classrooms and half-day sessions are a tragic waste of our greatest national resource - the minds of our children."

"A man should never neglect his family for business."

"Around here ... we don't look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things ... and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths."
